Specific Impacts
— 50,000 tenants were supported in defending their rights, particularly against unjustified rent
increases, evictions, or unsafe living conditions.
— 63 food security agencies were supported with a total of $5.7M, helping to ensure food security
for thousands of vulnerable people while promoting food autonomy, sustainable development, and
the fight against poverty.
— 28 community agencies supporting women and their families, backed with $3.3M, reached nearly
60,000 vulnerable women to improve their living conditions, reduce social isolation, and foster
autonomy.
Support to Community Agencies and Capacity Building
— 78 agencies received 500 hours of personalized support in digital transformation and 332 grants through
the DATAide initiative.
— 43 agencies strengthened their strategic planning and governance.
— 10 collaborative projects involving 40 partner agencies allowed the pooling of resources and improved
service delivery.
— 203 agencies received 6,698 hours of support and training to strengthen agencieal capacities and leader-
ship to better meet the needs of the population.
Strengthening Neighborhoods and Collective Action
— $3.8M were invested in 31 neighborhoods through the Collective Impact Project to advance local priorities
such as food, housing, and access to services.
— Funding for neighborhood tables in Montreal (via IMSDSL) was increased by 47%, giving them the means to
carry out local collective actions.
— A $1M Collective Action Fund was launched on the South Shore to support new local projects aimed at
reducing poverty.
