Each of these initiatives attests to

these 50 years have been filled with solidarity, generosity and,
local communities, which you can

The environmental, economic
and social instability disrupting
our society has direct impacts
on our communities. For example,
the housing crisis has exacerbated
vulnerability while the homeless-
ness crisis is getting worse and
food insecurity is on the rise.
Groups in a particularly precarious
situation include single-parent
families, single people, non-
permanent residents, people
belonging to a visible minority
group, and people without a high
school diploma. Since social
emergencies can’t wait, Centraide
increased its investments this
year in some of these key areas.
